A Blue Christmas Service will be held on Sunday, December 21st at 7:00 PM at Grove Presbyterian Church, 376 Bloom Street, Danville. The service is held on the longest night of the year and is for anyone who is feeling blue this season due to loss. All are invited to attend.

The Christian Union Church, at 5230 Rt. 104, Mt. Pleasant Mills, PA, 17853, is hosting a FREE Community Christmas Eve Dinner, at 3:30 – 5:30pm on December 24, 2025.  We will be serving Ham and Turkey, with all the fixings.  Absolutely free.  We will also hold a Candlelight Servie, from 6:00 – 7:00pm.  All are welcome!

Come, join Heaven Bound Church, 25 S Ridge Rd, Mifflintown, for a Live Walk-Through Nativity on Christmas Eve, December 24 at 5:30 p.m. Come experience the Nativity story told by the characters themselves, live animals and music. This event will be outside, please dress accordingly. Then, join us for a Christmas Eve service at 6:00 p.m. and a cookie walk following the service.

Trenton Woolcock

Trent is also a doctor of physical therapy and strength and conditioning coach. He has over three years experience working 1:1 with individuals seeking to improve their health through a structured movement and nutrition plan. He has been involved in health/wellness for almost a decade.

Boyer Mennonite Church, 1472 West Ridge Road, will once again be hosting Lego Club for children ages 5-15!  This year’s dates are January 16 and 30, and February 13 and 27.  The fun begins at 7:00 p.m. each evening!

Maranatha Christian School’s Annual Pie & Volleyball Night will be held at Maranatha Christian School, with supper starting at 6:00 p.m. The auction will begin at 7:00 p.m. Sale items include a variety of baked goods and crafted items. Night to Shine is a world-wide prom night experience for people with special needs. The event, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation aims to celebrate the worth and value of every individual as a king or queen in God’s eyes. 

This is Mifflin County’s first Night to Shine event and we need volunteers to register before 12/5/2025. Our biggest need for volunteers is Buddies, which will accompany one of our honored guests for the evening.

Scott Klusendorf (pro life activist and author) will be speaking and teaching us how to have pro life conversations within our daily lives. He will equip and encourage us to feel comfortable and encouraged to talk about the pro life topics wit others. Lunch and refreshments will also be provided.
