Bands start at 11am. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and plan to stay for a full day of praise and worship, food trucks and local vendors, all along the beautiful Juniata River. 

Game Night is a place to meet new people,reconnect with friends,laugh a lot,and enjoy some amazing board games. No, experience is needed-we’re always happy to teach new games and help you find a group.

Celebrate the launch of Mr. Stevey & Friends – The Book! with a free, family-friendly community event at the North Sarasota Library on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Families are invited to enjoy a morning of creativity, storytelling, mindfulness, and fun as we officially introduce the new Mr. Stevey & Friends children’s book and celebrate the community that helped make it possible.

The event will include a drop-in art activity for kids and parents, an interactive story reading with Mr. Stevey, feather breathing, prize giveaways, book signing, photos, light refreshments, and special announcements about the upcoming county-wide book tour and community hubs.

Join Peace Love and Poms Rescue for a free day of family fun on August 29th from 11am until 4pm at Annville-Cleona Veterinary Associates, 1259 E Main St, Annville, PA 17003! This year will be bigger than ever with face painting, balloon animals, and a bounce house for the kids. We will have mini cows and exotic pets to interact with! Meet some of the local rescue dogs and cats available for adoption. There will be karate demos, clinic tours, drone demos, and local agility dogs will be doing demos too! Be sure to bring some funds along because you will be overwhelmed by the selection of food and beverage stands, vendors selling all sorts of amazing items, and we are offering raffle baskets as well as 50/50 drawings this year! This is an amazing day you won’t want to miss, with free admission, and fun for the entire family!

Walking Free Clubhouse is hosting its 3rd Annual Recovery Walk and Car Show. This is a community event to promote the education and awareness surrounding addiction and recovery. This year the walk is bigger. First, there will be three bands performing including Becky Blue Band, Big Band Wolf, and Wander No More. For the fundraising part, there will be a mile walk that is $15 if you preregister and $20 the day of and each registered walker gets a free t-shirt. There is also a car show with a fee of $15 if you preregister and $20 to register the day of. It is easy to preregister either use QR code or go to website www.walkingfreeclubhouse.com. In addition, there will be resource tables, a butterfly release, kid’s games and face painting, food, and a guest speaker in Judge Piecuch and three other speakers two who live with addiction and one family member. The event is free to attend. Come out and enjoy the day together because Together We Can Recover.

Meanwhile, Gary Smallville questions everyone’s beliefs as this close-knit
group of friends disputes world views, lifestyles, and personal passions.

United Church of Christ will hold its Fall Rummage, Soup, and Bake Sale on September
17 and 18 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 19, 9:00
a.m. – noon. Saturday is Bag Day – fill a garbage bag for $5.00. Outside
sales of larger items run all week beginning on Monday, September 14. All
proceeds from the sale are given away to support our neighbors in need in the
local area and around the world. The church is located west of Lewisburg at 875
Dreisbach Church Road, Lewisburg, PA.

Fleeing the oppression of Europe, this group of believers followed God’s leading to cross the Atlantic in search of a home where they could be free. As most paths of life are difficult, their voyage was no different. Obstacles, pain, and even death accompanied the journey, but their faith in the sovereignty and goodness of the Lord helped them persevere and ultimately laid the foundation of the United States of America, the land of the free. 

Hosted by Crossroads Nazarene Church, this event featuring stunning choreography with a powerful message will be memorable for theatregoers and dancers alike! Tickets are available online and at the door before the performance.
