The Bloomsburg Fire Department Carnival will be held
starting on Wednesday, April 29 thru May 2, behind the station located at 911
Market St. There will be food stands, games and entertainment to enjoy. The
carnival hours are Wednesday through Friday, 5pm until 9pm and Saturday 3pm until
9pm. We will host our annual “Mascot Night” on Wednesday evening, “Community
Group Night” on Thursday, “Car Cruise-In” on Friday and Fireman’s Parade on
Saturday thru downtown Bloomsburg stepping off at 2:30pm from Bloomsburg
University Lightstreet parking lot. There will be
entertainment nightly starting at 6pm, under the social hall cover, bring a

Dreisbach
United Church of Christ will hold its Spring Rummage, Soup, and Bake Sale on May
7 & 8, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 9, 9:00 a.m. – noon. Saturday
is Bag Day – fill a garbage bag for $5.00. Outside sales run all
week beginning on Monday, May 4. All proceeds from the sale are given away to
support our neighbors in need in the local area and around the world. The church is located

Penn
View Bible Institute will host their 46^th Annual Benefit Auction on May
8, 2026 on the
campus of Penn View in the M&M Student Life Center.  The auction will start Friday at 3:00pm and
run until 11:00pm. This is a wholesome, family-oriented event.  Everything purchased benefits Penn View Bible

It’s PCC Corner of Hope’s annual Walk/Run/Ride for LIFE! We meet at Knoebels pavillion “M” and hold a 5K. Some people run, some walk, some ride bikes and some just sit and fellowship with out team. The Show Hope’s Hope for the Journey Conference (formerly Empowered to Connect) is hosted by Keystone Family Alliance at Sunbury Bible Church. This conference teaches the principles of Trust-Based Relational Intervention, made known by The Connected Child by Karyn Purvis. You will come away with a better understanding of how to relate to children who have experienced trauma.

Attendance is open to anyone living, working, or volunteering with children who have experienced trauma. Conference also presents information and strategies helpful for all parents.

Training certificates will be given to foster parents who request them.

• Light refreshments will be provided when doors open in the morning.
• Lunch is provided to those who pre-register. Walk-ins are welcome to bring a bagged lunch or go off campus for the lunch hour.
• Please list your dietary needs when registering and we will do our best to accommodate.
