Raise the Region is a 30-hour online fundraising event with the opportunity to earn extra money through stretch dollars donated from local businesses, along with additional prize incentives.

*Afternoon Drive $1,000; Thursday 2:00 – 5:00 PM (Nonprofit with the highest number of unique donors.)
*Evening Challenge $500; Thursday 5:00 – 7:00 PM (Top 3 nonprofits that raise the most money.)
*Largest Gift Challenge $1,000; Thursday 6:00 – 7:00 PM (Nonprofit with the single largest gift received.)
*Minute Match $100; Thursday 7:16 PM (At 7:16 PM, gifts of $100 will be matched dollar for dollar for one minute or until total match fund is allocated.)
*White Flag Prize $1,000; Thursday 8:00 – 10:00 PM (Nonprofit that raises the most money.)
*Checkered Flag Prize $1,000; Thursday 10:00 – 11:59 PM (Nonprofit that receives the most gifts.)
The WGRC radio ministry has been “on a mission” from the very beginning… even before signing on the air on April 22, 1988. In fact, WGRC’s ‘Mission Statement’ sums up what this ministry is all about. The statement hinges around four key words: Worship, Grow, Reach, and Connect.
WGRC’s Mission Statement: To engage in daily worship of Jesus Christ, fostering growth in God’s grace for those reached with radio programming that connects with the family and community.
Your gift today will impact many by allowing us to focus budgeted finances on the ministry work of WGRC in order to continue sharing the message in the music – the message of the gospel and the good news of Jesus Christ!
