Official Rules: WGRC Big Buck Contest
Contest Dates
The WGRC Big Buck Contest begins October 4, 2025, and ends December 13, 2025. All entries must be posted to the WGRC Facebook page by 11:59 p.m. on December 13, 2025. Any entries received after this time will not be considered.
How to Enter
To enter, you must post a photo on the official WGRC Facebook page. The photo must clearly show you with a buck that you have legally and ethically harvested in PA. The buck must be taken within the official contest timeframe (October 4 – December 13, 2025). Please include a brief description of the harvest, including the date it was taken. Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same individual will result in disqualification.
How to Win
The winner will be the person whose submitted photo receives the most “likes” on the WGRC Facebook page by 11:59 p.m. on December 13, 2025. In the event of a tie, a single winner will be chosen at random from the tied entries. WGRC reserves the right to verify the authenticity of all likes and may disqualify any entry suspected of using fraudulent means to increase its like count.
Prize
The winner of the WGRC Big Buck Contest will receive a $100 gift card to D&R Firearms LLC. The winner will be notified via Facebook Messenger, announced on the WGRC Facebook page, and on-air Monday December 15 2025. The prize is non-transferable and has no cash value.
Eligibility and General Conditions
This contest is open to all legal residents of the United States who licensed hunters in PA. WGRC employees, board members, and their immediate family members are not eligible to win. By entering, you grant WGRC permission to use your submitted photo and name for promotional purposes, including but not limited to, sharing on social media and other WGRC-owned platforms. WGRC is not responsible for any lost, late, or misdirected entries, or for any technical issues that may prevent an entry from being submitted or seen. All decisions made by WGRC regarding the contest are final.
