Job Description

The primary goal of the Camps Programs Director is to advance the mission of Promise Ranch Ministries by enhancing and developing the Ministry of Promise Ranch.

Overall responsibility

• The role of the camp programs director is to be responsible for managing all general summer camps and work closely with the horse program director with the horse camps, field trips, retreats, and outreach events.
• Creating new opportunities to grow Promise Ranch.
• Assist with administrative responsibilities as well as daily management of Promise Ranch. Additionally, assist with physical and spiritual instruction of counselors, Jr counselors, and other staff of Promise Ranch Ministries.
• List from above but not limited to

Schedule of hours

You should plan to be on property 40 hours a week during the school year, summer camp hours will be higher due to the scheduled programs and responsibilities of overnight camping. Schedules can change at any time due to retreats and volunteer opportunities etc.

Qualifications

• Committed follower of Christ humbly and willingly subjecting to Him, not only as Savior but also as Lord.
• Agrees to abide to Promise Ranch Statement of Faith and Policies and Procedures and demonstrate Christ-Like Character at the Ranch and in the community.
• Teaching ability
• Excellent communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to delegate
• Problem solving skills
• Servant attitude and leadership ability
• Time management skills
• Heart for discipleship ministry
• Flexible, patient, and teachable
• Outgoing personality
• Does well under pressure
• College education is preferred but not an absolute.
