2026 Mifflinburg Turkey Trot 5K & Kids Fun Run

Start your Thanksgiving morning with family, friends, fitness and fun at the 2026 Mifflinburg Turkey Trot 5K & Kids Fun Run!

The Thanksgiving morning race kicks off at 9:00 AM, with registration beginning at 7:30 AM. The 5K is a timed race, making it a great event for both serious runners looking to compete and families and friends simply looking to start their Thanksgiving Day on the right foot. We’ll also have a Kids Fun Run for our youngest participants!

There are plenty of reasons to get out and trot with us. Prizes will be awarded to the top overall male and female finishers, along with prizes for the top finishers in each age category.

And don’t forget to get creative! We’ll also award a prize for the runner with the best costume. Thanksgiving-themed, turkey-inspired, funny or festive—the more creative, the better!   

You Can’t Have a Turkey Trot Without Dessert!

Every registered runner will have the opportunity to enter our Pumpkin Pie Raffle. Simply provide your name and cell phone number for a chance to win. Because really, what’s a Turkey Trot without a little dessert?

Water and snacks will also be available for our runners.

GET A FREE T-SHIRT! Runners who register by November 6th can order their complimentary 2026 Mifflinburg Turkey Trot T-shirt.

Giving Thanks & Giving Back

Thanksgiving is about more than a great meal—it’s also a time to be thankful for what we have and to help those in our community.

This year, we will be holding a food drive for kid-friendly food items to benefit the Wildcat Weekend Food Program. We will also have a donation jar available for cash donations.

Your participation in the Turkey Trot directly supports the Mifflinburg High School Boys Lacrosse Team. Last year, more than 500 runners registered, and the proceeds from this fundraiser helped us purchase much-needed equipment, including helmets, sticks, gloves, new goals and nets. Funds also helped provide team meals and support our end-of-the-year banquet.

So whether you’re a competitive runner, a casual jogger, a walker, a family looking for a fun Thanksgiving tradition, or someone who simply wants to support our community and our student-athletes, we hope you’ll join us!
