“A WRINKLE IN TIME”, adapted by Morgan Gould from the book by Madeleine L’Engle, tells the story of one of literature’s most enduring young heroines, Meg Murry. When her father is abducted by an evil force that is threatening to take over planets throughout the galaxy, it is up to Meg and her little brother Charles Wallace to embark on an adventure through space and time. With help from their friend Calvin O’Keefe and a trio of mysterious guides (Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which and Mrs. Whatsit), Meg must use all of her hidden talents and faults to save her family and find herself along the way. A Wrinkle In Time won the Newberry Award in 1963 and has been loved by readers of all ages ever since, offering a story that mixes fantasy, science and spirituality, good and evil, and an enduring love. The book also inspired a 2018 Walt Disney movie of the same name.
Directed by Virginia Zimmerman, and featuring Amelia Briede (Meg Murry), Thomas Graham (Charles Wallace), Addison Berry (Calvin O’Keefe), Dodie Rippon-Lovett (Mrs. Whatsit), Susan Guinter (Mrs. Who), Sarah Bell (Mrs. Which), Elena Machado (Mom/Aunt Beast), Fred Hooper (Father), Jacob Hockenbrocht (Red-Eyed Man), Holly Hales (Happy Medium), Haley Young (Sandy), McCartney Roman (Dennys), Aditi Shruti (Camazotz Mom), Eli McNett (Newspaper Boy), Arwen Leal (Camazotz Boy), Everett Stuhl (Bully), and Andrew Confair (Principal).
