Hurricane Florence Disaster Relief (September 2018)
Convoy of Hope
Convoy of Hope has a proven track record of disaster response and relief for more than two decades, and is approved by FEMA. They have seven locations prepped for distributing aid as soon as it is needed. Trucks are being sent to the coast today with emergency food and water, clean up supplies, hygiene kits and much more.
God’s Pit Crew
God’s Pit Crew, a vetted, experienced relief agency based in Danville, Virginia immediate response comes in the form of “Blessing Buckets,” which are literal five-gallon, sealed plastic buckets sent by the thousands into a disaster area providing much needed early days of recovery supplies. The buckets contain personal care items, cleaning supplies and even a Bible. Your station can help raise the funds to deploy more Blessing Buckets to hard-hit areas immediately after the storm passes. You can also assist with bottled water drives and other recovery efforts.
