– Three Union County Lutheran churches (Mifflinburg’s
First Evangelical Lutheran Church, Millmont’s Christ’s United [4 Bells]
Lutheran Church, and New Berlin’s Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church) and Camp
Mount Luther are preparing a vacation Bible school (VBS) evening camp this
summer.

Come experience outdoor ministries close to home! Staff
from Camp Mount Luther and volunteers from these congregations will be on hand
to bring fun, fellowship, and the love of God through our day camp program.
Evening Camp includes games, sports, Bible study, singing, crafts, special
events and worship.

Children and youth from kindergarten through 6th grade
are invited to this evening VBS camp. It will be held from Sunday, July 23
through Thursday, July 27, 6:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. at the Mifflinburg Community
Park at 131 North 5th Street, Mifflinburg. A meal will be available each
evening at 5:30 p.m.

This year’s theme is “Holy Trinity—Wholly Love.” We
will explore the mystery of the Holy Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, God
the Holy Spirit) within the church and how it applies to us and our world today.
VBS Camp will be staffed by trained counselors from Camp Mount Luther, in
cooperation with members of the host Parish’s congregations. The trained staff,
volunteers, and clergy make it a point to illustrate a loving and caring
environment for all campers. A typical VBS camp schedule includes devotions,

Christ’s United Lutheran Church of 13765 Old Turnpike
Road, Millmont, is located 3.5 miles west of Mifflinburg on PA Route 45. First
Evangelical Lutheran Church is at on 404 Market Street in Mifflinburg. Messiah
Evangelical Lutheran Church is at 308 Market Street in New Berlin along PA
Route 304.

Christ’s United’s worship starts at 8:30 a.m., Messiah
Lutheran’s worship starts at 9:00 a.m., and First Lutheran’s worship service starts
at 10:30 a.m.  All are welcome.
