Human trafficking is definitely increasing in the world. Though we are tempted to either think it couldn’t happen in our community, or avoid the truth and stick our heads in the sand, the truth is, it’s real and it’s here. In Mifflin County there’s a group, called Hope Collective, that’s trying to do something about this. To that end, there’s going to be a Human Trafficking Awareness Event on Saturday, Sept 21st 9-Noon at Mifflin County High School!
