The 27th Annual Worldwide Candle Lighting will be held this year on Sunday, December 10, 2023. This is a very special and moving event, when bereaved families join together from around the world in memory of all children, grandchildren and siblings gone too soon. As candles are lit at 7:00 p.m. local time, hundreds of thousands of persons commemorate and honor the memory of all the children gone too soon.

Our local Compassionate friends group will be having our candle lighting on Dec. 10 at the Hood Center at Geisinger in Danville. The doors will open at 6:45 pm. The Program will start at

7:00 pm when our main candle is lit. We will be lighting our individual candles for each of our loved ones at the end of the program. All family members are welcome to join us. Candles will be provided. Refreshments will follow.
