“Waka Waka!” It’s a phrase heard round my home often these days. I have a five-year-old boy who loves to tell jokes. However, often times his jokes do not make sense – so we taught him to say “waka waka” (like Fozzy the Bear) and 98% of the time it gets adults laughing along with him. Today, February 8th, is Laugh and Grow Rich Day…a day to celebrate laughter and all its health benefits like a better mood, lower stress, and lower blood pressure. A good chuckle will even give you a good ol’ immunity boost!
Here are a couple of good, clean, and mildly amusing jokes to throw around with your kiddos today:
Q: Why wouldn’t the shrimp share his treasure?
A: Because he was a little shellfish
Q: Where do snowmen keep their money?
A: In snow banks!
And some kid friendly brain teasing jokes:
Q: What is red and smells like blue paint?
A: Red Paint
Q: What has one head, one foot and four legs?
A: A Bed
Q: What goes through towns, up & over hills, but doesn’t move?
A: The road!
“Waka Waka” 😉
If you’re looking for a moment of laughter here’s something to fill you ears and heart – is there anything so pure as the joy found in a baby’s laugh?
Good words for your journey today…
For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven… A time to cry and a time to laugh. *Ecclesiastes 3: 1, 4a*
Thanks for “hanging out”!
