I have a story to tell you about Sanah – when Sanah was three she was diagnosed with a hair loss condition Alopecia. In middle school Sanah struggled with the hair loss and the wigs she wore – she says she soon realized the wigs would not make her any more beautiful than she already is. Out of that she founded International Natural Day – which is celebrated each year on this day February 13th. Sanah wants to inspire others to let go of insecurities and find the true beauty of being natural…you can read more of the story at internationalnaturalday.com.
When God set up His family in Christ He gave us each other as a gift. He wants us to have relationship – and sometimes that is in the form of mentorship. If you’re a young mom there are many reasons why having an older woman walk alongside you as a mentor would be beneficial. Things like: Personal Relationship, Accountability, Ongoing Support, Prayer, Sound Biblical Wisdom. As moms, it’s easy for us to turn to online blogs from other women provide us with information, but allowing yourself to be mentored will supply you with wisdom to sustain you. Often times we must seek out those relationships – if there is someone God has shown you talk to her ask her if she would be willing to walk alongside of you in your journey.*
