This week singer/songwriter Ross King released his new single “Things That I’m Afraid Of.” The song tackles the hard topics of anxiety and depression, and is already receiving positive feedback on social media for its authenticity and vulnerability.
“My dad died in a drowning accident a few years ago, and it sent me into a deep depression. I started trying to ‘write my way through it,’ but I was always nervous to really put it out there, so I would sort of ‘write around it,’ using cryptic language and metaphors.
